Winter is arriving. It is not only the Winter of Season, it is also the real winter for Economy, Peace etc.
Time for us talking about China Pigment matters.
Background
1. COVID-19:Now Omicron is spreading in the China , many city have to be lockdown and people working at home. So some place logistic will be problem to make the products too late for loading.
2.Season’s holiday: Next month, Christmas will be the start, then New Year holidays, Chinese New Year holiday. Chinese New Year will influence the domestic logistic much, I think some logistic company will stop from around Jan.10,2023, then if you need prepare the stock for February and March ,2023, it is better to place order earlier and shipment before Jan.18-Jan.20,2023.
3.China Market:Many chemicals factory start stoping production to avoid over stock and sales with lost due to low market demand.
4. FIFA 2022:FIFA is going now, hope every body can enjoy it and forget all the problem and pain.
Pigment and its raw material
1. DCB:DCB price went down with force of ONCB price down and low market requirements .The price will be stable for the time being for a while. And one more thing is one new DCB capacity is in building now, will supply from next September , which will make the DCB price more reasonable .
2. AAA series products:Price is down due to the oil price down and low market requirements.
3.Naphthalene series products: This series products price went down a little but more stable than yellow raw materials.
4. Other pigment and its raw material: Most of other pigment and its raw materials price are a little down due to the same reason .
Conclusions: Because no customer accept high cost made pigment price, the pigment market price keep lower than the real cost price due to high stock before. When factory start using high cost raw materials and would like to increase pigment price , suddenly find market is so bad and no order to support price up, so during past 2 months, pigment price is more stable than raw materials. Before Chinese New Year, all the firm order price can be negotiated according to the volume. And please take the logistic problem into your consideration to avoid late for loading before Chinese New Year which I mentioned above. So talk the price with supplier and ship earlier are our suggestion if you need prepare stock.
