April is Spring season in Northern Hemisphere, all the plants start sprouting. But the world economy seems not good at all.

 

1. COVID-19 : Now some cities of China facing COVID-19 threaten and some management & control policy are carried out in many place which make the logistic big problems, many truck driver prefer to stop than running on the way.  And all the world know Shanghai is lockdown in the whold April  which influence export shipment much and hope Shanghai can re-open in May. Now there is one good news that international courier service company start picking up the parcels.

 

2.New capacity: The new big pigment factory start trial production in April, there are 2 products have already produced, but no information about quality and price.  And there is another new capacity will start their trial production in Shandong province.

3.Currency rate: It is good news for export by US dollars, now RMB against US dollars rate is going weak which can help the US$ price be better.

 

4. War: The war is continuing, nobody know when it can be ended and the war will hurt the world economy so much and hope it can be ended immediately.

 

1.DCB: Now DCB raw material ONVB is short due to one manufacturer stopped producing for general inspection. And DCB price is up now , it will go down soon in May.

 

2.AAA series : Now due to the raw material price and low market demand, the AAA series products including PMP etc. price can be negotiated according to order volume which make yellow price is stable in April, balanced the DCB price going up.

 

3. Naphthalene series, 2B,4B acid, and other raw materials: Only DB-70 price is down and most of pigment intermeidate are stable in April. Due to the management & control policy, the logistic is serious blocked , the economy have to going slowly , many factory have to stop because of blocked logistic.

 

 

The market demand, new capacity, currency rate and raw material trend will make the price going down compared with price in March and early April.
