End of February , it is time to report you some information about pigment in China.

 

1. Pigment Intermediate Capacity: Now almost all the pigment intermediate capacity are big enough for the pigment production, some intermediate even overcapacity. In future, short supplying of raw materials will be less and less except some suddenly production accident happening.

2. Pigment Capacity: During past 3-5 years, China pigment capacity expansion is very fast , especially in Azo Pigment and now China capacity is huge enough more than your image , and there are some new capacity are under construction. Pigment  is  complete market competition now. 

3. Chinacoat: After 2 times delay, Chinacoat 2021 was held last week in Guangzhou successfully, most visited people are from domestic market. Hope it is good start of year 2023 for all the related industries .

 

4. Phthalocyanine pigment: New capacity of phthalocyanine started production in China, it will change China domestic phthalocyanine pigment supplying situation of the market..

 

Then let us be back to the pigment and its raw materials.

 

1. DCB: ONCB price is a little went up, but DCP price is stable now and some imported India DCB even cheaper than China DCB, no power to support DCB price increasing except one big manufacturer stop producing or ONCB price going up very high.

 

2. AAA series products: Now Aniline price is going up , but AAA series products price are keeping stable due to demand low .If present situation kept, AAA series products price will decrease in future.

 

3. Naphthalene series products: Now Beta Naphthol , Bon Acid etc. products are sold even with lost price, it is difficult to decrease any more but difficult to go up as well.

 

4. Violet 1,3 and Red 81: Due to Sodium Molybdate and Sodium Tungstate price increased a lot after Chinese New Year, now Violet 1,3 and Red 81 are very high and it seems price will be kept for some periods. On the other hand, Violet 23 price now is decreasing as new capacity start producing and raw materials price going down.

 

5. Other pigments: Present price can be negotiated  according to your order volume, the price changing will be a little, not so much. Some information showed that Red 254 price maybe going down .
